You will find our house Alpenglühn in the climatic health resort Reit im Winkl in the district Entfelden. Four comfortable and cosily furnished holiday flats for two to four people await you. Enjoy the fantastic panoramic mountain view and recharge your batteries here in the healthy mountain air and spend the wonderful sunny days on the large balcony or in the garden. Holidays in our child-friendly house mean holidays for the whole family and holidays from everyday life. Our house is an ideal starting point for hikes, cross-country skiing and fun on the slopes. It is only about 100 metres to the bus stop/ski bus. Your advantage as our guest: We are partner landlord/operator of the Reit im Winkl swimming card. This gives you the opportunity to receive further free services in addition to our own, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl open-air swimming pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool and the lido pools at Walchsee.

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title of climatic health resort is awarded to "towns and villages whose air and climate, according to an expert report, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Arrival Description
By car to Reit im Winkl: Coming from Munich on the A 8 motorway, take the Grabenstätt exit. From there take the Bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Reit im Winkl (27km). The Inntal motorway offers an alternative. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the Inntaldreieck and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian federal road 172 to Reit im Winkl. Coming from Salzburg, take the motorway (A 8) to the Inzell-Ruhpolding exit and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl: The nearest railway station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Reit im Winkl. By plane: Munich airport is approx. 140 km and Salzburg airport approx. 70 km from Reit im Winkl.

Description of the accommodation
The generously furnished, Bavarian-style, 3-room holiday flat has a spacious, sunny balcony. You can comfortably prepare your meals in the fully equipped separate kitchen with dishwasher. The cosy holiday flat has a very large living-sleeping room, an extra bedroom, a small bedroom especially furnished for children, hallway, shower with WC. Cable TV and radio/CD player round off the facilities. Bed linen and table linen are provided by us. The cosy duvets are extra long. A small separate children's bedroom with two beds is available. The parquet flooring is particularly well suited to the holiday flat, which is furnished with lots of wood.
