Our house on Schmiedweg is located in the beautiful climatic health resort of Reit im Winkl, in the Chiemgau region. The newly built country house was furnished very comfortably and with great attention to detail. Four flats await you, offering enough space for one to six people. All flats have a balcony from which you can enjoy unobstructed views of the mountains. You can relax in our sauna. We also take care of your holiday tan. A solarium is available for this purpose. Sports enthusiasts can improve their fitness in the fitness room. For the tennis lovers among you we also have a special treat. Our guests can use the nearby tennis camp free of charge.
Your advantage as our guest: We are a partner rental company/business of the Reit im Winkl Swimming Card. This gives you the opportunity to receive additional free services in addition to our own services, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool and the Kössen forest swimming pool.
We are also a partner rental company/operator of the Benzeck ski lifts. This means that, in addition to our own services, you can enjoy other free services such as free travel on the Benzeck lifts in winter (EUR1.00 contribution towards costs).
The leisure facilities and shopping opportunities of the climatic health resort are only a 5-minute walk away. You can simply leave your car under your covered parking space at the house. Angelika and Kaspar Speicher are looking forward to your visit.

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Arrival Description
By car to Reit im Winkl: Coming from Munich on the A8 motorway, take the Bernau exit. From there on bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Reit im Winkl. An alternative is the Inntal motorway. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the Inntaldreieck and drive to the Exit Oberaudorf. From there on the Austrian Bundesstraße 172 to Reit im Winkl. Coming from Salzburg, take the A8 motorway to the exit Inzell-Ruhpolding and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl: The nearest train station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Reit im Winkl. By plane: Munich Airport is about 140 km away and Salzburg Airport about 70 km from Reit im Winkl.
