Information about the host
Our family-run "Haus Christina" is located in the climatic health resort Reit im Winkl in the heart of the Chiemgau. A quiet location and a fantastic view of the Kaiser Mountains await you in our extensively renovated and newly furnished non-smoking flats. Our 3 lovingly, cosily and comfortably furnished holiday flats offer space for 2 to 4 people. All flats are equipped with flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo system. A room safe is available in each flat for your valuables. From our balconies you have an unrestricted view of the Kaisergebirge, Reit im Winkl and the surrounding mountains. Enjoy our wonderful landscape while having breakfast on the balcony. From our house it is only a few minutes' walk to all shopping and leisure facilities (mini golf, open-air swimming pool, Kneipp facility...) as well as to the local restaurants and the festival hall. Our house is the ideal starting point for your hiking tours.
Your advantage as our guest: We are a partner rental company/business of the Reit im Winkl Swimming Card. This gives you the opportunity to receive additional free services in addition to our own services, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool, and the east shore and lake promenade at Walchsee.
We are also a partner rental company/operator of the Benzeck ski lifts. This means that, in addition to our own services, you can enjoy other free services such as free travel on the Benzeck lifts in winter (EUR1.00 contribution towards costs).

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title of climatic health resort is awarded to "towns and villages whose air and climate, according to an expert report, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. Visitor's tax per person/night throughout the year

Children and young people** 1.50 euros
Children up to the age of 6 and severely disabled persons with a degree of disability of
100% and their necessary accompanying persons are exempt from visitor's tax.
For severely disabled persons with a degree of disability of 80-99%, the visitor's tax is half the amount.

Arrival Description
Leave the motorway A8 Munich-Salzburg at the exit Bernau and turn left in the direction of Grassau - Marquartstein and from there in the direction of Reit im Winkl. From the church drive straight ahead into Hausbachweg, at the end of the road turn right into Birnbacherstr. and follow this road for approx. 100 m. Before you drive up the hill towards Birnbach, turn left into Sommerpointweg. There you will find our guesthouse at the end of the street on the left side.
