From 01.01.2019 there is another bedroom with 2 single beds available. The living space then increases to 70 square meters.
The apartment has 70 square meters; It is completely renovated and leaves nothing to be desired. 2 bedroom, 1 living-dining room with additional sleeping couch, modern kitchen, hallway, bathroom with shower / WC, satellite TV and free WLAN. The apartment on the first floor can easily be reached via a separate entrance.
On the balcony you can enjoy your breakfast or a cozy evening with a good glass of Riesling in fine weather. You have an unrivaled view of the wooded heights of the Schwarzwälder Hochwaldes and the surrounding pastures. A Liegewiese with attached barbecue area as well as an Autogarage are also available for your sole use.
We warmly welcome you in the middle of a nature paradise, which invites you to go hiking, cycling and sightseeing.
The modern furnished apartment is suitable for a nice holiday in the Hochwald. By the nearby federal road B 268 and the B 407 are easy to reach Saar and Moselle, as well as Saarland and Luxembourg.
Short Hauschronik: Our house, or apartment, is located in the settlement community Vierherrenborn, which was originally populated by 42 peasant families. Many changes have been made to the structural change of agriculture. Thus, our dairy cattle business is not continued in the next generation. In 1980, Christa and Franz Mersch married and took over the agricultural business of their parents. In 1981 and 1984 the two sons Roland and Thomas were born, who now no longer live at home. Thus, a lot of living space remained and we have furnished these premises on the first floor to the apartment. The apartment has a separate entrance, is modern and brightly furnished and comfortably equipped.
In 2020, the surroundings of the holiday flat were made even more family-friendly; an in-house playground for your children provides amusement, whether climbing, swinging or sliding, no wishes remain unfulfilled.
The very quiet location and a wonderful view invite you to linger.
The recently furnished and modernised barbecue area with a modern gas barbecue also provides a feel-good atmosphere.
So that you can also explore the nature paradise with "built-in tailwind", we have purchased two brand new e-bikes; just switch on, get on and start cycling! Feel free to contact us.

Leave the A1 at the interchange -AS Reinsfeld - (132) in the direction of Saarburg, Kell am See. Then follow the road towards Saarburg (B407). Drive through the village of Zerf. At the roundabout, take the 1 exit towards Trier (B268). After 700m turn off the B268 into an "anfahrtsweg". After 800m you have reachedyour destination, the apartment!
Of Trier:
Leave Trier in the direction of Saarbrücken / Zerf. Follow the road for approx. 20km and turn off at the bus station Vierherrenborn. Follow the K149 for 900m until the Bürgerhaus "Alte Schule", turn left into Zerferstrasse. After about 1km you have reached your destination, the apartment!
From the A8 / Merzig:
Leave Merzig in the direction of Losheim am See (L157). After Brotdorf turn left towards Losheim am See (L157). At the crossroads, go straight ahead in the direction of Hausbach / Britten (L374). After Britten turn left onto the B268 towards Trier. At the roundabout at Zerf, take the second exit in the direction of Trier (B268), after 700m turn off the B268 into an "Anliegerweg". After 800m you have reached your destination, the apartment!
